Tests & Diplomas

DELF & DALF Diplomas

Among the Alliance Française network in Autralia, some alliances are part of the official examination centers for DELF and DALF diplomas.

DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) & DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) were created in 1985 by the French Ministry of Education. They propose :
- Six independent diplomas, each corresponding to one of the six levels of the Common European Framework of References for Languages;
- Compulsory entry test dispensed with ;
- Each diploma evaluates the following skills: oral and written comprehension and expression.
- These diplomas can be sat for and obtained independently from each other, in the same country or in a different country and without time limit.

Please click on the map on the left on the alliance of your choice to find out when the next sessions of the DELF & DALF are to take place.
